mistakenly lists the publisher name as 'BiblioLife', whereas the actual book I received has 'BiblioBazaar'.
In any case, buyer beware that the BiblioBazaar version of THOUGHT FORMS only has black & white illustrations! The website description does not say that the pictures herein are black & white rather that color, and yet they have the audacity to charge $22 for this book! Instead, I advise customers to get the version published by Quest, which has the original color illustrations.

Color illustrations are essential for reading this book, so don't even waste your time getting the current version which is a free public domain book without the original color plates.
Anyone interested in the history of consciousness studies will need to read this important work from a key member of the Theosophical Society. Very valuable.
The Prime paperback book shown here from CreateSpace Independent Publishing Platform (July 6, 2014) ISBN-13 978-1500425081 has no illustrations rendering it somewhat useless. Make sure you get one with all the illustrations.
Unfortunately, this version does not include color plates as some of the Leadbeater books that I bought decades ago, and I wanted to reference one pic for a book I'm writing. I've had to rely on a pic reprinted in another book, taken from a 19th century copy. This book does give the written description of what I was looking for, but not the pic I needed. Sorry if this review does not provide an overview, but I purchased it for a specific purpose.
Leadbeater had a special gift that enabled him to see beyond the realms of ordinary experiences. Every human being is capable of those same insights, however we must develop ourselves to reach inward and unlock our awareness of these things he calls, Thought Forms. We are entering into a period where science is finding these same understandings about consciousness in quantum theory. In a nutshell, the weight of our 5 senses puts a fog over our conscious awareness of those spiritual sights that he and others have written about for centuries. His doctrine is taken away from the philosophy of Theosophy. The doctrines of many religions are themselves aiming to understand our human nature similarly. Yet, clergy will not precisely say, fearing that they might reveal secret powers that lie dormant within each of us. Religions fear what would happen if the masses who live outside their particular institutional system of control would use this kind of knowledge to accomplish. Good or evil deeds might be carried with these insights.
This printed edition by CreateSpace Independent Publishing Platform (July 6, 2014) contains no illustrations. The illustrations are referenced on nearly every page and are necessary to understand the text. If you just want the text, download the free version. Illustrations are available online for free if you search. This printed 72 page book is not worth anything in my opinion. I returned my copy as "defective" and got a refund.
I am a seer and psychic. I see and communicate with spirit entities. Thought Forms is a classic and offers the adept the tools necessary for training the spiritual/psychic eye and abilities. We all use this modality in different ways, no two person's experiences are a like. However, there are certain things that every individual has in common and that is true on the spiritual level. Energy can be seen and manipulated by thought and intent. Knowing how to correctly operate in the spiritual and psychic realms is important. Your success in life depends on it. Thought Forms goes much deeper taking you into a spiritual panorama of color, the different levels energy vibrates and more. Its good eating and digests well. Enjoy!
